Fairytale AU Meme [Open]
Pick one of my characters and I'll toss a disney/fairytale au scenario at you! I've got some rough descriptions of their roles below. You can start, or you can just give their name in a top-level and I’ll write something up. These can be shippy or not, although given the descriptions I’ll probably tend towards that way unless you tell me you don’t want that
Alec: Damsel in distress, suicidal, who thinks this whole thing is stupid and this story can be ended if anyone at any point just solves the problem of the ‘princess’ for good
Annabel: Necromancer, who tries to find love by bringing hers back from the dead
Dominic: Knight, who’s pretty sure that he’s supposed to slay the ‘dragon’ but might end up falling in love with him/her instead
I-No: The evil witch, finds delight in other people’s suffering
Ivy: The persecuted heroine, who badly wants to believe in love but doesn’t really believe that it can trump the facts of life
Kai: Prince charming, careful and earnest, hugely romantic who thinks that life’s course can be changed by love
Ky: Either the hero, earnest but not very good at people, or the damsel in distress who’s going to apologize for having to be rescued
Rose: Ghost girl, who will accept a coat in exchange for being able to touch and feel for a while
Sol: The dragon, why are you waking him up from his nap just to rescue a princess? He doesn’t have time for this crap.
Valentine: The evil king whose goal in all of this is power and also just seeing the ordinary people scramble

So once he managed to get this form working for him, he flew eagerly into the kingdom, but, um. Apparently if you're smaller it takes longer to fly, so Ryoji perches himself on a high up window for a break. Between the flight and maintaining this form, he's a little tired.

Ky!
The young Venom's been eyeing the hero of the land for quite some time, and after a long journey, the hero Ky coming to visit the kingdom. The castle's staff has been at work for days, cleaning and preparing for the brave youth's visit. They want everything to be perfect, and will stop at nothing to accomplish it.
When the evening sets in, and everything is in place. The royal family waits patiently to welcome Ky while the prince frets quietly over meeting him.]

Sol or Dominic (or even Ky idk 8D WHOEVER WOULD BE MOST FUN)
Which is, naturally, exactly what the beautiful siren perched on the rock is hoping for, her eyes watching the boats full of potential prey as they sail past, a smile curling on her lips as the sailors on board fight the mystical melody.

Alec of course~
It's times like these he doesn't mind not having a family, not being too close to anyone. No one to use against him. Leaving a few bodies behind him he wipes the blood off his sword and raps on the door they had been guarding. It's locked, but he can kick it in if it's the right one. "Tremontaine?"

Sol
It's a little different when said kingdom is an invading force that's decided the dragon is simply in the way. Perhaps of use, perhaps nothing more than nuisance with a lair between them and their goal, but nevertheless something requiring address.
Instead of a knight, they sent a sorceress. A small, quiet witch with only her orders in mind, taken from some forgotten place and shaped into the perfect tool for such a quest. Her life, by and large, wouldn't affect them if it were lost.
She summons three constructs to assist her progress, fending off monsters and bandits, watching from her perch atop her familiar. It's dull. Dreadfully so. But at least it goes by quickly.
It's best to conserve her energy, anyway. For all her deep connection to the magic of the world, it isn't good to spend it needlessly. She might need to unleash it against something else, after all.
"The final obstacle."
And then she will have accomplished her task.
There's no effort to hide herself as she presses into what they've determined is the dragon's territory, either. She'll either find it first or be found; she's calculated what she can of the risk and is confidant she won't fail.
After all, these are her orders.
