[Having a drink or two hadn't seemed like that bad of an idea and now that he's done it Ky still doesn't think it was one. Although he does have to keep glancing back at his new tail, worried he's going to knock something or someone over.

It's kind of a pleasant feeling, being drunk, like it makes the whole world seem a little softer, a little less like something Ky has to march through to get to his destination. And it seems a little less important to keep himself separate from other people just to keep his distance, and a little more like he would kind of like a hug. He stops to think about it, knowing that there might be consequences and that the alcohol he's had is probably fuzzing his brain up a little, but he thinks he can handle whatever might happen. It seems worth it, to be a little less lonely.

Ky makes his way to the bar, where Jade is working, and gives him a half-smile, and a nod. Jade also looks like a fox, perhaps that means he also wants a hug.]

Jade, can I talk to you for a minute?

I...My behavior a moment ago was inexcusable, and I'm sorry.

[Even if it had been comfortable. But having to talk about what's wrong with it makes Ky regret it more.]

[And Jade was gliding effortlessly around the bar, his smile still on his face as he kept his distance, but still somewhat moved by curiosity.]

[Ky shrugs.]

I overstepped my bounds. I can usually...control myself better.

Ah, so you need a level of control..? Now why is that? [Jades tail curled as if to follow his question.]

I can't control all of my thoughts, just my actions.

Not even all my actions all the time, though I should be able to.

[Oh... That is close. Ky should probably back away, but he can't quite bring himself to.]

[Jade was well aware of what Ky meant, but getting him to admit such a thing was on a special level of teasing accomplishment.]

[A half-step back.]

Come now, we were actually getting somewhere.

[Jade leaned just a slight bit forward, hands still tucked neatly in his pockets as he nipped gently at Ky's ear.]

Somewhere I-- We don't want to go there.

[Ky stood transfixed again, tried to shake his head once Jade had his ear. He couldn't think why Jade would nip at his ear.]

[Of course he couldn't. Jade stood straight and rose a brow at him.]

Oh? Why not?

Come now, Ky, you don't have to be so tense all the time.

Being tense is better than being immoral.

[ Huff huff. ]

[Jade passed Ky and went to sit on the couch, his tail curling about him.]

Much less fun. Besides, I'm relatively harmless.

[ Ky was just going to turn to watch Jade, but stay where he was otherwise. ]

Maybe you are, but my thoughts aren't.

That doesn't bother me; really~

[Jade innocuously patted the couch next to him.]

[ Ky knew Jade was dangerous to him if not in general. Knew he shouldn't do this, but he found his feet moving until he stood right in front of the couch. ]

I don't think the kind of harm you have in mind is terribly dangerous~

[Ky stood there, shook his head.]

Damage to the soul is still damage.

[Jade snorted at that, an odd noise that had been mostly accidental.]

[The smirk remained on his lips, brow risen as he laced his fingers together behind his head. The ears leaned forward and his tail came to rest in his lap.]
