Legault would agree wholeheartedly that Sol had indeed been forced to pay attention to him. Being roommates tends to do that to people, and his opinion on the circumstances changes almost daily to suit his mood. On some days, being paired with Sol is an amusing turn of events that he appreciates. On other days, he feels unfortunate and lonely, lacking someone to even talk to, though he hides that well. On even rarer days, he wishes he’d been a bit nicer to Sol in the past.
As it stands now, at least they’re getting along. He remains facing Sol for a moment as his roommate reaches for more chili flakes. It’s amusing, seeing Sol get conversational about anything, and here he’s talking about using his talents to make his roommate cry. Wonderful.
