It wouldn't have been the first time that anyone would have wanted to address Thancred's shameless skirt chasing, far from the first time he's heard that particular lecture, but it's not a lecture he particularly listens to. Ever. Where it would be a problem would be if he either treated his lovers badly (he doesn't, and would never) or if he was too distracted to do his work (which wasn't the case, far from it).

(At least he's not easily upset.)
