Trying to learn anything about Sol, particularly about his past, would have been a particularly frustrating endeavor for Legault, and it was the sort of thing that they were both better off for him not pressing on it. If Sol enjoyed his company, it was at least in part that he didn't have to worry about that particularly topic so far.

Sol took a deep gulp of his beer, and while he didn't lean in to match the other man, his eyes did register a spark of interest. Not much more than that, but given Sol, that ought to be enough.
