Laisa ducked her head, trying to hide a little more of her from view, hoping that it would be enough. She pulled her cloak a little closer, trying to figure out how not to stand like a queen, how to interact with people. This whole thing was doomed to failure, and Laisa was distinctly aware of the fact that she’d have been better off if she’d fallen dead from some poison.
Or, well, maybe not, but she knew the point of it.
“An inn,” Laisa said, and then, “I’m looking for an inn.”
